as may has been winding down, it has felt as though it is simultaneously winding up! i cannot believe the number of school functions that they cram into the last weeks before summer--this week alone lily had a field trip, a class party, and jelly bean field day--she commented that i was at her school "like every day this week!" and she was right! i am so worn down right now from the pace of our life that i keep pausing as i type this, trying to even remember what i was going to say...i will say that we are saying good bye to a good friend--shane is moving across the state and i know lily will miss him (i will miss his mommy, alicia, and our breakfast dates to panera :))--we were co-homeroom moms this year and i enjoyed getting to know her! they will be missed...

took miss zuzu to the vet today as she has been limping for several weeks--turns out (and maybe you already knew this) but dogs can tear ligaments! zuzu has torn her ACL (or whatever it is in dogs) and we are contemplating the next step for her...surgery!!?? meds and pt?? ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! i think we shall rename her "lemon" :)

today marks three weeks until we begin our journey overseas--still awaiting the news on our ultimate destination in asia...pray for our anxiety!!
