Today is a special day...and do you know why?? it's my beautiful mother's birthday! Happy Birthday MOM!!
what an amazing woman you are...and here she is long ago, showing clearly that my children resemble her!
i have learned so much from this lady :) and i am proud to say that besides my husband, she is my best friend. she has taught me the value of integrity, the importance of family, and most importantly she has been my guide to the most valuable thing in my life, which is my faith in Jesus Christ. her example has been present since i was a baby...i remember peeking at her during prayer time in church...i remember her sitting on my bed each night as i would sing my little prayer song...i remember countless conversations as i was growing up where GOD would be explained in a loving and beautiful way... And my mother has also taught me the value of friends...hers have become like family to me. they laugh together...and i laugh with her--very little exists that cannot be laughed over. and now as a grandmother, i see the delight in her eyes when she is with my children...pure, sheer delight. and they adore her. and i adore her. happy birthday mom...i love you so much---even so much more now. thank you for being who you are...
