so we have been busy little bees lately...obviously too busy to update my friendly little blog here! a friend of mine told me that when she dies her tombstone will read, "better late than never..." and i think it would be fitting on mine as well--in another 70+ years :) (yes i'm planning to live that long). so here's my attempt to play catch-up from the past two months or so...

 so t and i have been an item for 14 years (officially) as of yesterday. he took me on our first date when we were in college and we've been together ever since... and this awesome guy treated me (us) to box seats in jax to see wicked...this makes 5 times that i've seen it now. once from the BACK row of the theater, once from the third row, two times from the mezzanine...i told t the only thing better than these seats would be front row center...maybe next time :)

 the kiddos and i took a visit to the devil's millhopper one day when t was building a fence with his life group. i had never been before but we will definitely return. i called it "the great wall of gainesville" because of all the steps...i was huffing and puffing climbing just as much as i had been in china :)

 gosh we love us some satchel's...after fence building the whole gang plus families joined up and fed our faces...and "super randy" borrowed ty's blanket (cape) and showed those boys how it's done...

 so in next month's giggle magazine, you will see an article on our amazing ty (written by his super-proud mama). we had a photo shoot with the talented shandon smith of lifeprints photography and although you must wait until the magazine comes out, here you can see our attire and smiling faces from that day :)

and this shot is here just so i can show off that i was dressed from head to toe for this...i can't wait to see our awesome ty in giggle...it helps to counter-balance some of the more negative things that he has had to put up with in his almost 6 years...and my hope is that it will foster some understanding in our community and help other mamas out there chat with their kids about people who are different...
