...the story of a day...

todd and i had a lovely weekend in orlando whilst the kiddos were in the hotel mimi and poppy...and the loveliness has worn off already!!! today was a good day, albeit busy, and always interesting, but good...the morning started off with the pest control man visiting--he's my favorite guy right now since the rainy florida weather means i see lots of creepy crawlies in places i'd rather not...ty stalled the guy a few times to show off his new legos, which the fellow genuinely obliged--some nice folks in our little world :) i managed to get everyone dressed and fed and out the door for moms' group with only a few tears and whining... moms' group was good--lots of tension in the air about sept. 11th--i am praying for peace in our town that day... lunch followed at the mall and it was just a few of us, but the kids ate and got to play in the germ pit--only one question about ty's arm today. we got back to the car with some more crying and whining and drove to the bus stop to get lily and then home before the bottom dropped out. i gave zuzu 3 zanax because we had to leave again to take lily to her jazz class and i didn't want the dog to destroy anything...jazz class went great--we're adding ballet--and then we came home for a quick dinner before open house at lily's school tonight, which also went great. we came home, started baths and todd found bella cutting her own hair--a lot of it. i couldn't stop laughing, but she did get a scolding. a couple stories and they are all in bed...

so that was the day... i think we moved the ball forward but i can't be sure :) atleast the dog is chilled out...
this is her favorite spot--i unpacked these bags and they were on the sofa for a few days before they got repacked and she cozied up here whenever she could...

every time we've tried to ride the norway ride it shuts down, usually when we're in line--we finally made it on!

we picked up the kids at a mall and they had a little fun before we left

the ride home--bella was all smile because she was stuffing cinnamon sugar pretzels in her face
