i am attempting to catch up, since i have been a slacker in the blogging department lately...my humblest apologies and hopefully this post will make up for it. life has been busy, crazy, jam-packed, overflowing, and beautiful these past few weeks. not always good, but certainly not always bad--probably a healthy combination of both with lots of variety and a busy schedule thrown in to keep things interesting. so here goes the marathon of photos...enjoy

these next few are from hand camp, which was awesome again this year!!!! we were in a cabin with a great family from pensacola whose twin sons took a liking to james and ty...and their daughter and lily are the same age...staying in a cabin for two nights was like this giant sleepover with parents included...not a lot of actual sleeping happening, but the kids all had a ball

ty at archery...he was a good shot--much more independent this year and he actually hit the target all by himself!!

the cabin crew

bella and james were there the first night but they ended up going back home with gg and gran for the second night so we could focus on ty and lily...here's bella and i drawing with chalk on the basketball court

t and k at archery, right before i was slightly impaled in a broken-off arrow from one of the targets...i didn't see it and walked right into it. this involved a hand surgeon at camp helping to remove parts of the arrow and then immediately upon arrival at home going to the walk-in clinic to have the then-infected wound cleaned out and receive a tetanus shot...lovely
