thoughts

i forced myself to sit at the computer this morning to update facebook and thought i would blog too...unfortunately this will only include words and only one photo. we had a lovely Easter with my family here, although the first 5 hours of their visit was spent at the emergency clinic having my grandmother's face stitched up after she did a header into our hot water heater in our garage upon arrival. she was a trooper, though, and never once complained about pain or anything else..she was only concerned that she had put us out! i tried to convince her that there was nowhere i would rather be than right with her! she's healing nicely and is not in any pain, praise GOD!! for Easter we dyed eggs, although when i say "we" i mean my mom and the kids...i was upstairs dealing with james and one of his tantrums and missed the whole thing. the boys had soccer on saturday morning so mimi, poppy, and nanny got to witness it...it's always an event :) later on sunday we went to an egg hunt at a friend's house and the kids had a ball. they all took turns riding down a hill in a lightning mcqueen car and james seemed to have the most fun...pure elation was on his face!
